Marinated Flank Steak Recipe

 

Marinated Flank steak makes the perfect easy summer time marinating meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups herb-seasoned croutons
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 pound flank steak
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons hot vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup water

Preparation

Cook onion in the butter until tender. Stir in chopped eggs, 1/4 cup of the sour cream, croutons, water, and the beaten egg.

Pound steak to thin and tenderize; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Spread stuffing over the meat; roll up from wide edge then skewer to secure. Brown the roll in a large skillet in the hot oil. Add 1/2 cup water, cover, and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, or until tender. Remove meat roll and add enough water to the drippings to make 1/2 cup. Stir in remaining sour cream. Heat just to boiling point; serve with meat.

  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced on the bias
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 1/3 lb beef flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher or table salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Carne Asada Marinated Flank Steak Recipe

  • 2 limes juiced
  • 1 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 jalapeno minced
  • 4 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2 pounds flank or skirt steak

Herb Marinated Flank Steak Recipe

  • 2 tsp rosemary, finely minced
  • 2 tsp tarragon, finely minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tsp thyme, finely minced
  • 1 tsp each salt and pepper
  • 2 lbs flank steak

  • 1 – 1 1/2 lb flank steak
  • 1/3 cup beer
  • 1 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp grated lemon zest

Red Wine Marinated Flank Steak Recipe

  • 1 cup cabernet red wine
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 spring fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 2 shallots, roughly chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh thyme, chopped
