This is an amazingly easy recipe to make but turns out the most fantastic BBQ Sauce blend we've ever made. Follow the steps below:
Ingredients:
Steps:
1. Purchase all ingredients. Jake's BBQ Sauce can of course be purchased from this website. The Bourbon or Brandy is the very basic inexpensive kind. The Bourbon/Brandy is more of a flavoring and when cooked on meats reduces the alcohol and intensifies the flavor of the meat.
2. In a medium bowl pour in all ingredients.
3. Mix all ingredients thoroughly for at least 5 minutes.
4. Let marinade rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before using.
5. When marinade is rested take meat and a plastic bag. Put the meat in the bag then pour over the marinade.
6. Let the marinade coat the meat for at least 1 hour.
7. After 1 hour the meat is ready for grilling, broiling or baking.
Blend makes 14 ounces of marinade and will coat at least 20 lbs of meat.

Options and making Raspberry Bourbon BBQ Sauce
We've included two options on our famous Bourbon BBQ Sauce. There's something wonderful about the smells and aromas of bourbon. You don't necessarily have to be a drinker to enjoy the aromas much like the smells of cherry tobacco flavor coming from a pipe. I can no more think about drinking let alone smoking so for me I simply enjoy the aromas without the desires to consume the ingredients. This is somewhat similar with the making of the barbecue sauce. In cases where we do not consume alcohol we've created a natural substitute for the real thing. So much so that I would bet money that you couldn't tell the difference.
And for those who really don't want to chance the mix we offer some really great substitutes that friends of mine have used. The options include sparking wine, sparking soda, Vanilla Extract, peach nectar and cider vinegar, almond extract, ginger beer, or sparkling champagne. In the case of the non-alcoholic forms they offer the flavor substitute without the alcohol nature.
We know that in Option 2 this is a completely do it yourself recipe. But we wanted you to get a feel for the work that must be done to achieve this timely sauce. It takes a fair amount of effort and ingredients plus of course the time necessary to blend and mature the sauce. I know it might be something you'd want to try but my suggestion for the sake of time is to invest that time wisely in getting our Maple Bourbon BBQ Sauce. Get the Maple BBQ Sauce and cut the time to getting your meal done by 70%. You won't have to take the time to wonder if the sauce came out right and more if someone likes or dislikes it instead you just open and pour the sauce and use according to the recipes. This is the better option all around.
