This is a really great recipe.  We developed this recipe for those who drive long haul trucks across the country.  The recipe was added to a truckers website along with some other recipes to support folks who work the highways for a living.  I especially like this recipe because of its simplicity.  The combination of ingredients can be purchased just about anywhere and if you're on the road for long periods then have the meat sit in the marinade is just ideal.

The combination of Worcestershire and Mustard have always been favorites next to another favorite like Balsamic Vinegar.  But for this recipe we bring it up a bit with great substitutions for the alcohol portions with sparkling cider or sparling grape juice.  What we're after is the flavor and not necessarily the effects.  In most cases if you use some form of alcohol you can simply burn that off.  A person in a confined space would need to locate an outside area in which the exiting gas could be burned off with a simple lighter.  Once burned off the recipe is ready for the grill as the meat has been properly tenderized.

We've paired this recipe with a simple Caesar salad.  We find that the combination of salad and marinated steak tips creates a meal that is tasty and filling.  In addition if you're making the dish for one this dish will store will for about 3 to four days.

A friend asked me if this recipe could be made with pork chops or pork loin and considering the marinade ingredients I don't see why not.  Everything contained in the marinade can easily be applied to the pork.  And since the pork will need just as much to complete the tenderizing cycle as the beef the results will easily be the same.  I think I might add one additional thing in the pork recipe.  I might add a 1/2 teaspoon of thyme to give the pork a little more earthy flavor.  Other than that the recipe is great for use on pork or pork loin.

So go ahead and give this recipe a try.
