Steps:

  • Step 1: Pour the contents of Jake's Maple Bourbon Marinade into a container.
  • Step 2: Pour the Meatballs into a pot large enough to contain the meatballs and marinade.
  • Step 3: Place the pot onto the stove and turn the stove on to simmer. Allow the meatballs to simmer in the marinade for 45 to an hour. If meatballs are frozen allow them to thaw for at least 30 minutes before joining with the marinade.
  • Step 4: Remove meatballs from the liquid. The liquid can be used as aus jus if desired.
  • Serve with garlic mashed potatoes or Caesar salad. Meatballs can also be served Swedish style if desired**.

 

**Swedish Style is add the combination of onions, beefstock, olive oil and dill to create flavor then adding a skewer to each meatball for easy gathering.
