I particularly enjoy this Aloha Salsa Hawaiian Style Recipe.

I've made it over 10 times while having party guests and also just while kicking around at home. The recipe is easy, all you need is some vegetables, pineapple, a cutting board and a sharp knife. I like dicing the vegetables because it makes them more bite size when they are all combined. One of the key elements to this dish is having while it is chilled. The chilling seems to heighten the flavor profile and you get all the distinct vegetables and fruit on every bite.

A few weeks back we made this dish while just sitting around the living room. I thought hey we have chips and all the other ingredients so let's make this fun. I had every person in the room cutting up an item. Just the sheer collection of folks all focused on making one dish made this fun. And believe me there were those who tried to taste the salsa even before it was finished. But to their surprise just as we got the last ingredient in I whisked away to the freezer section of the fridge for 10 minutes of quick cooling. I can't say the folks were too happy when that happened but afterward they forgot about all the work they put in and just enjoy the results. A really great salsa that's so easy to make. Do yourself a favor and try this out at home or with friends. The recipe takes about 15 minutes to make and will generously serve 5 adults.

Jeff Thelen has graciously submitted one of his fan favorites which we of course have taken full advantage. This is not just a summer party dish but a salsa that can be used for practically any occasion where people gather. The salsa is fresh and refreshing and compliments barbecue salads, ears of corn and potato salad.
